Palm Desert Campus Library Study Rooms

Located on the first floor of the Hilb Building, the Palm Desert Campus Library has two study rooms that can be reserved by students.

Policies: Reservations

  • Study rooms may be reserved for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of two hours per day from the reservation grid at the bottom of this page.
  • Students may reserve a study room up to three days in advance.
  • A COD student email address (@mycod.us) is required to reserve a study room.
  • Once a reservation has been submitted to the system, students have fifteen minutes to verify their reservation via the link sent to their COD email address. The system will automatically cancel any reservation that is not confirmed within 15 minutes.

Policies: Using the Study Rooms

  • Students have fifteen minutes from the start of their reservation to check in to their study room via the link sent to their COD email address or the QR code in the study room. Students who fail to check in within the first fifteen minutes will be dropped in the system so another student can use the space.
  • When you are finished with the study room, please don't forget to check out via the link sent to your mycod.us email address or by using the same QR code so other students know the study room is available.
  • Please note that all study rooms must be vacated 10 minutes before the Library closes Monday - Thursday at 8:00pm and Friday at 5:00pm.
  • Students who fail to vacate a study room in a timely manner at the request of Library faculty/staff may have their study room privileges suspended.
  • No food or open drinks.
  • Dry erase marker set with eraser can be checked out at the front desk.
